Terms of Service

Last updated 18 September 2026

These terms apply when you use FetchSandbox — the website, the API, the CLI and the MCP server. If you use it, you agree to them.

What the service is

FetchSandbox runs sandboxes that imitate third-party APIs, so you can reproduce an integration failure and check a fix against it. It also offers tools that read a repository, report bugs and propose a fix as a diff.

A sandbox is an imitation. It is built to behave like the provider, including its failures, but it is not the provider and we do not guarantee that it matches in every respect.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service to break the law, or to attack anyone's systems
  • point the analysis tools at code you have no right to
  • try to get around usage limits, or resell access as your own product
  • upload credentials for a live production account into a sandbox

That last one matters. Sandboxes are for test traffic. Use test keys.

Your code and your content

Your code stays yours. You give us permission to process it only so far as we need to run the job you asked for — reading a repository, reporting findings, producing a diff. We do not train models on it.

The diffs and findings we return are yours to use. You decide whether to apply them.

What a proof means, and what it does not

When the service reports that a fix is proven, it means one specific thing: the scenario reproduced the failure against your code before the change, and did not reproduce it after. That is evidence about that scenario.

It is not a guarantee that your integration is correct, that no other bug exists, or that the provider will behave identically in production. You remain responsible for reviewing and testing your own code before you ship it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service up, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features, and we may change usage limits.

Third-party API specs in our catalogue are reproduced to model each provider's behaviour. Those providers own their own names and marks; we are not affiliated with them or endorsed by them.

Paid plans

Where a plan is paid, fees and limits are as shown at the time you subscribe. Charges are billed in advance and are not refundable except where the law requires it. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you have paid for.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.

Ending it

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we have to for legal or security reasons.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
